Blogging[edit]

I've seen your 'advice' to El Jique at talk: Larry Craig, concerning his 'blogging' the talk page with gossip. He's been doing the same thing at Talk: Cuba and Cuban related pages. Does his action fall under 'Wikiquitte'? GoodDay 19:27, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The guy who posted here. GoodDay 19:40, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Trust me, that won't curb El Jigue's actions. In the past, he's been 'blocked' by Administrator Durova for 'talk page misuse' to no avail (even accusing Durova of communist sympathies). He's response to 'blocking' & complaints of his actions? he see us as 'aiding' the Cuban communist in suppressing Cuban events (ie Cuban soureces as unreliable). I've let it go for months, because 'other editors' (who edit those Cuban related pages) desired his presence (citing ignore all rules). I don't know, maybe I'm complaining too much (perhaps I should stay away from those articles). GoodDay 20:04, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm gonna follow your suggestions (ignore EJ). Thanks for your time. GoodDay 20:27, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Larry Craig mugshot[edit]

Just wanted to simply send a message of one of the most well thought out and phrased arguments for this, or any other photo, I have EVER seen. You stated my views on the subject with more eloquence than I knew I could ever muster. It's my sincere hope that this will FINALLY set a precedent for mug shots to be put on the various articles as needed. --Hourick 23:01, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Returning the Returning of the thanks. Yes, I was referring to it. --Hourick 00:47, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cite news[edit]

Hi! Just so you know, Template:cite news is the preferred way to cite news sources. Using the template allows us to easily modify references and easily keep all references in the same format. When editing a reference, please do not remove Template:cite news, as you did here. Also, there's no need to name references unless they're used more than once. Thank you. —Remember the dot (talk) 23:40, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(replying to message on my talk page) – I was caught in an edit conflict with you, and I apologize for any of your work that I inadvertently undid. Aside from that, what I should have said is that I was trying to fix the sloppy referencing in the Larry Craig article by reformatting all references with Template:cite web and Template:cite news. These templates are widely used and very helpful, but using another reference system such as MLA or APA would be fine if done consistently throughout the article. Happy editing! —Remember the dot (talk) 04:22, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
(replying to message on my talk page) – Thanks for the note, your point is well taken. I'm glad it's sorted out now. —Remember the dot (talk) 04:39, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Larry Craig[edit]

Thanks for letting me know. GoodDay 18:26, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That anon-edit was probably in 'good faith'. GoodDay 18:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:County Seats of Maryland[edit]

I removed the image from there because fair use images are not allowed inside of templates. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 22:27, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
