Managing a conflict of interest

I'm trying to update the theater's page and create a bio for Mr. Bean. He's been in the business of theater for 50 years and yesterday, I attended a sold out showing of The Bodyguard The Musical in New Orleans. When I googled him, I was surprised to see nothing on Wikipedia except an outdated entry about his Community Theater from 2016.

How can I incorporate existing media articles on Mr Bean to create a wikipedia for him? LyfePULSE (talk) 17:23, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

What you created at Draft:Anthony Bean was an advertisement for the theater, much of which appears to have been copy-and-pasted from elsewhere.

My advice would be for you to look at a similar artist to Mr. Bean and see the style we use here in this encyclopedia. Then, create a new draft (or overwrite completely the one you created earlier) with the text {{subst:Biography}} and save it. Then edit the resulting page - which is correctly formatted and will guide you on what you need to put where, being very careful to remember that we don't want anything that sounds like and advert and we don't want anything that has been copied from somewhere else. — Trey Maturin™ 17:30, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
