Introducing the evil twin

[edit]
Darwinbish, the evil Darwintwin

Yes, Lyncs, I'm talkin' to you! [The evil twin bites Lyncs shrewdly on the ass to reinforce the point. Falls over herself laughing. ] darwinbish BITE 22:20, 7 August 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark! --Lyncs (talk) 12:10, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Lyncs, I just can't keep Bishapod's socks in check. The whole family is out of control. And they'll probably all be admins soon.. What a nightmare. Bishonen | talk 22:21, 7 August 2011 (UTC).[reply]
:-) Haven't logged-in in a month. I take that as a good sign! Bought an airplane with a friend and hope to fly it this weekend. It is at the mechanic now. --Lyncs (talk) 12:10, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, scary! Don't go flying all high up! ;-) Bishonen | talk 09:54, 17 August 2011 (UTC).[reply]

[edit]

For your information, I have proposed two motions in relation to the conditions of your unban. Please see WP:A/R/A&C#Motions: Scientology (Lyncs). Regards, AGK [•] 00:11, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. --Lyncs (talk) 01:25, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Amendment: Scientology (Lyncs)

[edit]

Resolved by motion that:

The indefinite ban of Lyncs (talk · contribs) from the Scientology topic—that was set down (as "Topic banned from Scientology") as a condition of his successful siteban appeal—is vacated.

St. Augustine Wiknic

[edit]

Thanks for the offer. However, I thought there was no way I could go and the new work schedule was just posted. Since I did not put out a request, I will be working that weekend. One of these days I will make one of these events, but not this time. Again, thanks. Bill Pollard (talk) 12:52, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome. --Lyncs (talk) 23:33, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wiknic Miami event June 23

[edit]

Flying to St Augustine would be pretty cool, but if not, you can also check out Wikipedia:Meetup/Miami/Wiknic/2012.--Pharos (talk) 22:50, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I was hoping somethng closer might show up though I need a long trip to satisfy a requirement for obtaining a commercial pilot licence and may still go up to St. Augustine. --Lyncs (talk) 12:12, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fly to gainesville Saturday?

[edit]

I live in Gainesville can you pick me up there? I will be willing to pay for the cab ride there and back.Cozzycovers 01:58, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Would you please consider activating your email if you would like to discuss this further? Also, please be aware that what I would want to divert and pick you up would be a share of the airplane expenses for the portion that you are with me and a split on any ground transportation. Your share of the airplane expenses would likely be around $60 - $75. You are welcome to fly once we are in the air. For ground, I would recommend renting a car, usually about $45 plus gas and we can split the cost so your full cost could be as much as $100 or a bit more. --Lyncs (talk) 16:10, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm till willing to fly with you. Just email me where and when to meet you I'll cover my share of the cost.Cozzycovers 17:36, 22 June 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cozzycovers (talkcontribs)

Wow. Last minute much? LOL. The weather has not been too cooperative for flying these last few days but I will have another look at it now. --Lyncs (talk) 00:11, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Rain and general convective activity predicted. I am going to pass. Thanks for the offer though. --Lyncs (talk) 00:24, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome back! (belatedly)

Just stumbled onto the info that you've been freed from the Wikipedia doghouse and can edit Scientology articles if you want. Lots of turbulence on the Scientology front in the last couple of years--if you don't mind my asking, does your relationship to the church remain as before? -- BTfromLA (talk) 05:21, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Interestingly enough, I have sorta come full circle. When I started editing here in maybe 2006, I was pretty disaffected with Scientology. Editing, however, kinda reinforced for me what I like about Scientology, especially when pitted against the critics. I have gotten a lot out of Scientology and I am not the type of person to deny the good I found in something or someone even if things go a bit south later. So I became a bit more involved again for a few years but then just drifted away. I looked at the Independent movement but did not feel at home there either. So, these days, I just take what I got out of Scientology and go on with my life. For me, it is a "almost, maybe, coulda been" sort of thing. --Lyncs (talk) 02:55, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you would like my input on a specific issue, please point me at it and, if I have any worthwhile to add to the discussion, I will chime in. --Lyncs (talk) 03:00, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good, thanks for the reply. I see you are piloting a plane--that sounds fabulous, and is surely much better for one's mood and mental health than haggling over wikipedia articles! Best regards, BTfromLA (talk) 04:28, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That is the general idea, LOL. :-) --Lyncs (talk) 13:51, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Drg55

[edit]

For what it's worth, Drg55 kept posting personal information about his perceived enemies so his talk page privileges were revoked. That means he can't respond to what you posted. Honestly that's probably a good thing. Andrew327 21:27, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the update. --Lyncs (talk) 21:30, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
