Polling viz[edit]

Hi! I'm a big fan of the stuff you are updating on the polling pages. Are you the creator of the visualization? It is similar to this one that a friend of mine sent to me: https://polltracker.herokuapp.com/ which uses a Kalman filter and the polls from 538. By discarding the HarrisX and Morning Consult polls it tracks a lot closer to the Economist polls apparently, he tells me - which are amazing. Anyway, I saw you quit this site. My friend was also a Wikipedian for a long time and quit the site. But he still edits occasionally because it's kind of addictive. Contact me if you'd like to chat further about poll data visualization and media etc. PunxtawneyPickle (talk) 23:53, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

For a long time I have followed several pages that you updated regularly with great pleasure, in particular, the wide variety of opinion polling pages (and their visualizations) and a few of the pages related to less famous elections. And I just wanted to say thank you for your work and dedication. I wish you the very best in whatever new endeavors you might undertake. Thomasfowl (talk) 20:30, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
