Proposed deletion of Inuktitut Canadian[edit]

The article Inuktitut Canadian has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Inuktitut is a language not a group of people. The correct term would Inuit Canadian or Canadian Inuit. At the same time Nunavummiut is a term used for all people living in Nunavut not just Inuit.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Inuktitut Canadian[edit]

There is no such thing as a "Inuktitut Canadian". Inuktitut is the language spoken by some Inuit. The Inuit who live in Canada are Canadian Inuit. Also, Nunavummiut is the name for people living in Nunavut and is not just limited to Inuit. I live in Nunavut but I am not an Inuk but I am a Nunavummiut.
