Great. All set. Pmedward (talk) 18:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is a very solid article. It includes a lot of factual and pertinent information that I feel could be very useful to a reader. As for the page getting deleted, I think that if you could find a few more sources to include in the article that could be very helpful in making the article "more credible." In looking at the link http://concordswimclub.com/ I found that in contains current, relevant, and accurate information for this article which should be the case since it is the original source for that information. The Concord Swim Club site also includes numerous pictures and logos that I feel would fit very well in your article (refer to commons.wikimedia.org on how to do this). Some other possible sources could include newspaper articles about the Swim Club or specific members of the swim club. I believe that the main strength of this article is the depth of the content and the main weakness is the lack of sources. Overall it's a very well-written article.

This article is an introduction and description of a club. There is no problem in general. However, the reason that this article has been deleted may be that this article lacks of sources and other reliable references. Since this is a private, members only club, the Wiki may consider this article a promotional article or on behave of the club's interest. This article has violated the rules. The subject of this article itself lacks of coverages in the news or other medias. The information presented in this article is not biased because it comes from other data and sources. The structure of this article looks fine so far except that there is a part called "Fire." It seems awkward to introduce a fire event as an independent content. It could be included in a title such as "Event." Incorporating all events into a title may look better. The author could use some visual aids to improve the readability and interest of the article or find some other similar clubs for comparison. The swimming club has its own swimming team and participated in competitions. The article may include the competitions and the results. In general, this article is informative and improvable.

Speedy deletion of Concord Swim Club[edit]

A tag has been placed on Concord Swim Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.     JCutter  talk to me }     07:23, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
