If you quote material from a copyrighted source in an article it should be clearly designated as a quote (for example, using the {{blockquote}} template). Quotations should generally be used very sparingly—if you can briefly summarize something in your own words while avoiding close paraphrasing, you should do that instead. For a good explanation of when including a quotation is and isn't appropriate, I encourage you to read Wikipedia:Quotations, especially the section regarding copyright.
