Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Needles, California, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greater Los Angeles. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Russian language, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:24, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, I'm Compassionate727. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Greenland, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Describing a film's box office performance

[edit]

Hello. I saw that you recently edited The Angry Birds Movie. I wanted to explain why I reverted your edit. The problem is that you replaced neutral language that flatly stated the film's gross with an evaluative statement – that the film is a success. On Wikipedia, it's best to simply state facts without labeling them via non-neutral terms, such as "it was a success" or "it was a failure". Secondary sources can do this, and we can quote them; but we should not engage in it ourselves. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:47, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
