Signatures[edit]

"I'm not sure what happened, but some signatures of yours look all weird. Do you sign AFD and HD comments with four tildes? - Mgm|(talk) 23:31, 28 July 2006 (UTC)" Yes. Just four tildes "Scottandrewhutchins 23:51, 28 July 2006 (UTC)" and my username, Scottandrewhutchins. I don't know what the rest is about, either. Scottandrewhutchins 23:51, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Scottandrewhutchins Maybe I'm not supposed to add my usernameScottandrewhutchins 23:52, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have put some stern warning notices on the talk page of this article. I suggest the protection is removed and we adopt a rouge admin approach in watching over the talk and editing. Tyrenius 10:28, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Still getting used to popups.... I looked right at that edit in the history and didn't think about that.

I've discovered a way to see all my pics since I began on WP in January 2003. Look here for the list. Beware that a tiny number are other peoples pics that I've improved so just check I say I took it - Adrian Pingstone 17:17, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the santa clause and dave mustaine[edit]

I was SOOO frustrated that I couldn't look up santa claus that I just made a completely unnecessary change, hoping someone would look at my edit summary and fix it. You did. I appreciate the help, I'm workin' on learning unicode so I can do things besides minor edits. Thanks again. Andrew Al1encas1no 01:21, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NCRP Mission Statement[edit]

I work for NCRP and I understand the copyright issues you are trying to work against. However, I emailed premissions yesterday afternoon from my ncrp email address premitting the reuse of the oraganizations mission statement and it still was erased and I was warned. What is it that I need to do in order to keep the mission statement on the page. Right now I am going to update the article and add "Mission Statement" and place a footnote at the bottom. Please contact me with further steps. Thanks

Thank you very much for your appreciation. I am working at bettereing , mainly didactically the presentation of uncommon subjects. Many thanks Gerard Percheron

RE[edit]

Any time mate. Its why i am here. (to make annoying observations of users talk pages)

Culverin 06:33, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you reverted without edit comments, marking a large change as minor. I have reverted again, adding back in the "citation needed" tags and taking out extraneous information. I invite you to discuss this with me on the talk page. ********** 20:47, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your response: Everything looks good. ********** 21:26, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign Beggars[edit]

Thanks for the note -- I've responded on the AFD page. I'm leaning toward withdrawing the nom but, for reasons stated on the page, would like to wait a little longer and see if someone who's an expert on UK hip hop has thoughts. NawlinWiki 13:37, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 10th Kingdom AFD[edit]

I changed my vote per further discussion. szyslak (t, c, e) 09:34, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your offer to do the grunt work. I think I'll stick with my position, though. However, I don't know as you couldn't do something of what you suggest anyway -- pare them way down (making certain that there is no copyvio) and inserting them, not as a separate article, but as a section in the article 10th Kingdom. You might want to copy the material onto your local computer (or a subpage(s) of your user page) in case they are deleted and you want to do this. I'm not necessarily recommending this, as I'm not sure it's within policy or not; I'm just saying that this is something that you could do. Herostratus 16:50, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Block of 69.179.103.177[edit]

Hi - could you unblock User:69.179.103.177 - I think that Cyde's 48 hour block on him/her was a bit unfair, based on the fact that they had already been warned with a ban by you, and their next contrib was hardly "trolling" as Cyde writes in the block log. I found out about this ban on the reference desk - and have checked the anon's contribs, all to the reference desk, to see if there was any reason for Cyde's banning of him. It does violate "Don't bite the Newbies" IMHO. Thanks Martinp23 18:32, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK - I'm happier with 24 hours if you are - seeing as yours was the first, and should really have been the only ban for a single offence. Thanks for the help Martinp23 19:04, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning Mark Twiggs (Mark twiggs)[edit]

Sorry for the late reply, but as you can see on my userpage, I'm not really up to advanced contributing right now;Concerning you're commen, I must admit that I was more, let's say intrigued, by the name of the user who created the article, and so didn't look at the claims (It seems he is no Clarence Darrow, either. I won't contest the (re)creation of the article, though. And no dedd to get it to afd. Cheers and happy editing. Lectonar 15:47, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage[edit]

Thank you very much for redesigning my userpage. I haven't looked at the final design yet, but I'm just about to. However I'm sure it will be good. And you're right; I am no longer archiving User:Flarn2005/Old. Once again, thanks. BTW, I'm connected to WP via a hotel TV.

Now I am using a computer. Great job on the design!

Kids TV timeline[edit]

I've had a bit of an experiment at User:MacGyverMagic/In Progress/History of British children's television with a timeline. There are a couple of problems (stated on the talk page) but I think it's got potential. I think that using a different timeline type will fix it, but I'm not entirely sure yet. And this is good source for it all. violet/riga (t) 11:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried a different style of timeline which has more potential, but I'm not sure about which programmes were broadcast when, so hopefully there will be a nice simple resource for us to crib it from somewhere. violet/riga (t) 12:30, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE READ: for those of you who are doubters, please notice no back link to the website www.searchtoppers.com which would be the case if one was self promotion, and further more if you have a phone with a web brouser go to searchtoppers.tv and view a demo of the search toppers mobile streaming technology in action. the mobile streaming transfer rate is greater than 24 frames per second (HD). It works on all carriers except verizon who has not lowered their "wall garden". search and lear about carrier wall gardens then you can look up H.264 technology without disclosing patent pending information you can easily see searctoppers is who they claim to be. Thank you in advance for the time it will take you to confirm. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhurowitz (talkcontribs)
