Macau business

[edit]

Greetings,

I am trying to write a page about a three year old magazine in Macau "Macau Business" but for some reason you deleted it. Am not trying to advertise. I am, however, providing general and proven legal information about this magazine. I've read other articles about magazines and newspapers and found the content quite similar.

I am also new to Wiki, hence making a lot of changes as I learn.

Best regards,

Macau Business - What I have atm

[edit]

Macau Business is a glossy 4-color, 84 page, monthly magazine in A4 format. Launched in May 2004 by “De Ficção - Projectos Multimedia” it was the first English-language magazine focusing on business and the economy of Macau and the surrounding region. Three years running, Macau Business, has established itself in the English-language Media of Macau.

Macau Business runs a range of in depth stories about the development, challenges, economy and financial situations of Macau and the region, with sections dedicated to gaming and property. Macau Business also runs company profiles, CEO interviews, investigative reports, comprehensive analyses, case studies and opinion polls carried out by renowned universities and institutions.

Macau Business benefits from the collaboration of both local and foreign journalists, analysts, economists and other experts from Macau, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, the USA and Europe.

The magazine also maintains a web page featuring all it’s previous editions. In addition the site offers real time news updates on the regional economy by world renowned Agence France-presse.

Macau Business has offices in Hong Kong and Bangkok.

Business Intelligence

[edit]

In September 2005, “De Ficção - Projectos Multimedia” launched sister magazine, Business Intelligence, in Chinese language. Also monthly, Business Intelligence relies on it’s own content. The magazine examines economic developments in Macau and the Pearl River Delta region, and aims to be the definitive source of business information for Chinese-language readers. The editorial focus is on Macau's key industries including Gaming, Tourism, property and the retail sector, keeping a sharp eye on the economic climate of the Pearl River Delta region and of Greater China. With a monthly circulation of 10,000 copies Business Intelligence is available in more than 600 outlets throughout Guangdong Province.

Thanks for your note on my talk page. It is out of my area of expertise, but I would recommend checking out Wikipedia:Drawing_board. You might also try Wikipedia:Questions which provides a number of outlets for asking questions. Good luck. Nposs 04:10, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I see you've copied the article onto your user page. The reason it was deleted was because it contravened some of Wikipedia's rules, notably about advertising. However, there's no reason why it couldn't be reinstated as long as (a) the company is notable and is referenced as such, and (b) the article doesn't appear to be advertising.

If you read these pages - WP:CORP, WP:SPAM and WP:POV it may help you in creating your article. EliminatorJR Talk 09:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
