This article is amazing. Nicely done. I was one of Dr. Gelbart's student for Chemistry 110A and he is an amazing teacher. The point you wrote that he highly influenced students' on a daily basis, I have to agree with you totally. Perhaps you can specify how he did that. For example, my personal experience is that he would answer every question that the students ask in class, at discussion, and his office. Even he could not think of a really good answer to help the students to understand completely, he always says that to give him a few days to think it through and will come back to the question later and he always does. Regarding about the first part of your article, I am amazed that his research has that big of a background, and you are done an awesome job at summarizing. I enjoyed reading your article.
