Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Madada Official", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it contains "official", which often indicates a representative is using the name, and not the named person. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 11:27, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on User talk:Atlantic306 were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 13:36, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying to your message as have been offline. Please see WP:COI which discourages editors with a conflict of interest from directly editing the page so when you have finished your proposed changes please copypaste it on to the article talk page and declare your conflict of interest with a request that the new information be added to the article. Then a neutral editor such as myself will check it and if it is ok add it to the article.

It is important that the information is referenced to WP:Reliable sources so that the information can be checked, this is to protect the subject from anyone coming later and adding false information, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 14:34, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Atlantic306

HI, thank you for your reply. I can send you the text that I would like the article to be changed to; however, I cannot create the text into the Wikipedia article. In another word, I am unable to add the technical marks and the references in order to build the text into the article. In addition, I do not know the place “the article talk” you’ve kindly mentioned for me to post the edited text. If it is OK to post my text here, I can do so immediately. And regarding the claim of the conflict of interest, there is a book published, though only in Japanese, to support my statement in the subject of the term “Body Weather,” which was incorrectly written (from my point of view) on the Wikipedia of Min Tanaka’s page. English version has not been created yet. The book is the dialog collection by Min Tanaka and Seigo Matsuoka, who invented the term together. The term “Body Weather” was a new concept in the field of dance. In the book, they touched on how the term came about, and what they were describing using the term. Would the book be a reliable support for my claim? Attached is the cover and the back of the book. I cordially believe the importance of third person like you on editing work, which is the same as publishing a book. From my side, your advice and dedicated support is almost a last hope I can hold on. Thank you.

Madada official

Dear Atlantic306

I understand. I will make my proposed text and post there with the book source explained as much as possible. But, before doing so, my userID seems to be blocked. It seems that Wiki is asking me to change my userID. Is it OK to proceed for posting without changing it? It seems there are three reasons that my ID is blocked: Problems with editing on Wikipedia, problem with the ID itsef, and someone used my IP address and caused a problem. The third one scares me especially.

Hi, you need to change your username first as you can only edit this page with this one, am going offline for a while, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 17:09, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Atlantic306,

My newly proposed user name has not been accepted, and I have been thinking about how to approach, and Wikipedia itself. It was very tough as I had to do it along with my main work… Anyway, I wrote a reply to the username “Just Chilling” who explained to me the reason of the denial of my new username, and in short, I am not knowledgeable enough to edit Wikipedia. For now, regrettably, I can only withdraw and delete my username and account. But, before doing so, I would like to convey you, even it means nothing, that it was very much meaningful for me to have a conversation with someone like you. It is a fact that what is on Min Tanaka’s page now is incorrect, that is troubling his team so much, and something has to be done on the page. So, when I get a chance, I would like to try again with a reliable technician who would be familiar with editing Wikipedia. And, I sincerely wish to see you on the page then. Thank you so much.

Madada Official ((Min Tanaka and Rin Ishihara official company / Madada Inc.))

Dear Atlantic306,

I just try to send new user name again. It is "komarin310". How about this?. My interpreter intends to make an effort with me, towards the front. Would you check this user name?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Requested username:

Request reason:

My blocked username caused multiple problems while editing Min Tanaka's page, and I am developing my understanding through conversations with Atlantic306 and others. I am copypasting here the part of conversation, and trying to prove that my contribution was not intended to harm anyone and Wikipedia. Thank you.

" As a person who manages Madada’s official website, I would like to reply to your message, together with my translator, as I am only able to use Japanese. Min Tanaka’s Wikipedia page was editing by Min Tanaka and me last night with our company's interpreter. I fully understood that to edit a page on Wikipedia correctly needs a certain level of the technique. As you said, I am not knowledgeable enough for doing so. But, as a management side of Min Tanaka’s work, we have been very much troubled by so many of all the incorrect information available on the Internet, and especially on English version of Wikipedia, which prestigiously is referred by the people including those he works with overseas. We are aware that Wikipedia is not for commercial use, and we tried to be selflessly informative for the artist’s dedication for the art for the sake of nameless people. We also understand that it is unavoidable at some extent for the incorrect information to be spread, considering his active career for half a century. As you kindly suggested, we will start with the sand box, using Visual Editor for the references, and try to recreate the appropriate version for Wikipedia’s criterion. Thank you so much for kind warning. Madada Official ((Min Tanaka and Rin Ishihara official company / Madada Inc.))

P.S. I would like to convey my appreciation for your constructive judgement on the editing of Min Tanaka’s page on Wikipedia.Madada Official (talk) 17:59, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The username is still inappropriate and you say below you don't want to participate any more. By the way, if you don't speak English, you shouldn't be editing English Wikipedia per WP:CIR. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:24, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am not prepared to rename to 'maladance' as this is the name of a website. You may edit the template with a new requested name, for example a neutral name or a personal name. Just Chilling (talk) 20:06, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I received an opinion from Just Chilling. I think a little. I am separated from Web for a while. please, wait it that I contact here again.
  • The new username I proposed was “madadance”. “Mada” in Japanese means “not yet”, and I meant in my username to say “dance still not yet”, using the Japanese word and the word “dance.” The name has nothing to do with a company name. The soud is similar, but the name of the company does not have a meaning in Japanese. If there were many contributors who are the same opinion as Just Cilling, I will consider changing it again. I would not like to use my real name. However, I am reconsidering my approach to Wikipedia. I came to understand that I am not a suitable person to make any edit on Wikipedia. Regrettably, I am deleting my account. Since I have been suffered tremendously by the context of the article on Min Tanaka’s page, I will find a reliable person who can work on the editing, following Wikipedia’s rules and policies. Thank you.
Even if you don't intend it as a company name, it is one and that's why you are being asked to change it. 331dot (talk) 15:14, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Accounts cannot be deleted; if you don't wish to participate, simply stop coming. 331dot (talk) 15:16, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear 331dot

Thank you for telling about user name that, I cannot delete it. Thank you. I have to going ahead. Give me a postponement only a little.

If you want other users to be notified about your posts, you have to properly WP:PING them, like this: @Atlantic306 and 331dot:. And you have to properly WP:SIGN your posts in the same edit. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:15, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Vanjagenije,

I have made some kind of mistakes again. Thank you so much for your explanation. I will learn from the experts like you, think on my own, and hope to reach to edit my teacher Min Tanaka’s English Wikipedia into the correct context. My main work is something else, so it would take some time to reply. Thank you for the advice, and sending you best regards.

Madada Official (now requesting new username)

If you want to request new username, please make new unblock request (bu sure to read WP:username first). I have to notice that although I told you above, you neither WP:PINGed me properly, nor WP:SIGNed your post properly. Vanjagenije (talk) 17:04, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Vanjagenije:I understand. I am anxious, but here, I am trying to post my message following the way you kindly told me. Is this properly posted? Madada Official (talk) 17:45, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You need to copy and paste this text: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} replacing "new username" with your choice of name and "your reason here" with an explanation of why you should be unblocked, which should include understanding of the reason why you were blocked. 331dot (talk) 17:49, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@331dot: I will try it ! Thank you very much.Madada Official (talk) 17:57, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Madada Official, this is the third request of change of username. Please accept this new one. I reconsidered, and, with kind help from all of you experts, I would still strongly hope to have my teacher Min Tanaka’s page on English Wikipedia reflect the appropriate context. @Vanjagenije: Wow!!! Now, I am in the meeting with all the Japanese artists who will participate an event for the National Museum in Oslo and Ultima oslo contemporary music festival. http://ultima.no/en/events/ryuichi-sakamoto-fujiko-nakaya-min-tanaka-shiro-takatani-a-form But! they kindly understand this urgent situation, and let me work on it. Thank you very much for your specification.Madada Official (talk) 08:39, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is very important for you to understand WP:COI before you continue editing. WP:COI says that "COI editing is strongly discouraged". You shouldn't be editing (directly) about people you know (like your teacher). You can, of course use WP:edit request on the talk page. Vanjagenije (talk) 16:49, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Vanjagenije: I came a long way to make it to this point, by the help of you and many other people. I believe I have caught up and understood all the posts kindly sent to me. I cannot directly edit Min Tanaka’s page on Wikipedia; however, Atlantic306 had generously advised me about the issue, and said that neutral peer editors like you and Atlantic306 would be able to help me make suggestions. That is why I regained my hope that maybe I could correct the information on the page, even just a little. In fact, Min Tanaka himself, myself, and our company has been troubled by the incorrect article on his page. So, I decided to continue my involvement with Wikipedia, with the help by experts like you. My username was blocked when I came back with my determination, and I started learning the basics, before touching on editing, as well as requesting the change of username, etc. Thus, I am at this point now.

I have learned that your advice to read the guidelines was consistent, and that it is significant to do so. I am a total beginner, and I may make mistakes again. I might even end up with a conclusion that it would be impossible to edit, with high volume of my main work. But, for now, I would still like to do my best effort, receiving all of your kind instructions and much help.

On my WP:edit, Atlantic306 had created Min Tanaka’s section. You can read our discussion there.

Thank you, and highly appreciate your further advice.Madada Official (talk) 18:53, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Username

[edit]

Hi, Komarin 310 would be fine as it is not used by anyone else, so you need to make a new official unblock request asking for your change of name and say that you do want to participate in Wikipedia, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 13:12, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Atlantic306: I am proceeding to get it renamed, thanks to your checking the proposed name. I will continue. Madada Official (talk) 09:17, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The next edit you make should be at WP:CHU to request your username change. Chris Troutman (talk) 14:11, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you send message. Yes, I did about 2 day before. And I am waiting reaction form WP. Madada Official (talk) 12:45, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Atlantic306: For the request to change my username, I believe I finally succeeded to send the proper request to the appropriate place after much trying, as you can see my talk page. I have received email notifications to my registered email address directly. The subjects of the emails are: “Wikipedia page Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple has been changed by NewMindcracker”and”Wikipedia page Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple has been changed by Lopki90”. The context of the emails were pretty much the same, and the only link sent in both emails was <https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Changing_username/Simple&diff=next&oldid=795266964>, and there were no further instruction. My questions are as follows:

1) My username on the login page has not changed from before, the name “Madada Official” still appears, even after the request change username was sent. Was my username changed already?

2) If so, where can I find the new username?

3) Or, would I have to do something further in order to change my username and it to appear on my page? If I have to do something additionally, please tell me what to do.

That is all. It would be great if you could please advise me. Madada Official (talk) 15:27, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are talking about changes to the edit history of the username change page and not changes to your name. Your request is still on the page an an administrator will act on it when they are able. 331dot (talk) 16:00, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You will know when your name has been changed when this page is moved to the new name and it says this user does not exist, then you should log in with the new name.331dot (talk) 16:03, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@331dot: Thank you very much for your message. I read your explanation and was relieved. I understood it well. So, I wait for the time. And I will try a proper response. Madada Official (talk) 16:50, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
