I've noted the hangon tag that you placed on the above-captioned article, and the note that you left on its associated talk page: "This is a similar page right here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagram_Design If you think this is "blatant advertising" by detailing the history of a design studio then you should delete the above mentioned page as well. Thanks for your time." First, every Wikipedia page is compared only to itself (and against the relevant policy statements), and not to others: the suggestion that if one page is allowed, so should be another -- known here as what about X -- is not considered useful. Second, the page you cited has seven excellent references and sources that both assert and confirm the notability of the organization; yours has zero. I have therefore decided to agree with the individual who tagged the article for speedy deletion. Proposed deletion of Jay DeDapper

The article Jay DeDapper has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails biographical notability standards as the sources provided only mention him in passing. Written like an advert for the man's career, something Wikipedia is not for.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
