Welcome!

Hello, Mafics, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  Zach (Sound Off) 20:56, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Yamla 22:13, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:EL for Wikipedia's policy on external links. The warning I added above was not intended to imply that the link is to your own site, it is just the standard Wikipedia first warning for link spam. After reading Wiki's policy on external links, you may well feel that the link is still appropriate for the Mia Kirshner article. If so, please feel free to post to the discussion your intention to post the link, along with a brief explanation why. Assuming nobody complains at that point, you are good to go. And while I'm at it, thanks for your effort and thanks for discussing this issue with me rather than just reinstating the link. --Yamla 22:41, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
