Re: King Kong disambig. undo[edit]

Concerning my undoing one of your two edits to King Kong, what appeared in the Changes field when I checked to see what the edit had been was that the disambiguation page link disappeared (along with the link-brackets on the Latin species name, of course). As your edit summary read in its entirety, "that just redirects to this article," I assumed you thought that to be true of both links, but it wasn't the case with the disambiguation, of course. A quick check via an earlier version of the page confirmed that for me, so I undid (manually re-removing the brackets from the Latin). In other words, I had good reason to feel that what I undid was not a valid edit. I know better now, yes, but I didn't then. Make your edit summaries more accurate, as I do, and we'll all be better off. Ted Watson 18:40, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
