Hello- I see you are busy on the article but I want to offer a few suggestions. First, you need to have a look at the Good Article Criteria. These criteria are what I and any other editors are going to use to judge whether the article is GA or not. For one, while I understand your desire to have as many images as possible included in the article, the use of galleries is discouraged except in certain circumstances, and those are usually in regards to architecture and art (see WP:IG). One thing I would highly recommend is uploading your public domain images to Wikimedia Commons and having the relevant ones in a "University of Nevada, Las Vegas" category that can be linked to from the UNLV article. A gallery like what you have added won't get past GAN and certainly not past FAC. Also, there are some other things, such as capitalizing "University" in cases such as "The University..." The Wikipedia Manual of Style wants us to use lower-case "The university". If you need any help, let me know. --JonRidinger (talk) 18:48, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I would highly recommend retracting the latest GA nomination. While it was good to see some additional history added, many of the same problems that caused the articlen to fail the first one are still present. For one, the history section is in the present tense and should be in past tense. For instance, "In 1969, the Board of Regents approves the school's name change..." should be past tense, the Board of Regents approved the school's name change..." There are several instances where this is a problem. Since history is all in the past, it should all be in past tense. Another big problem that wasn't addressed is the issue of citations. Simply having a link between the "ref" markers is why there is a tag in the reference section about the citation style. Each link needs to be placed in an appropriate citation template, which also includes places for date, access date, title, and author/publisher (where applicable). As long as that tag is present, the article won't get promoted. Third, the lead section needs to be "a concise summary" of the article. In other words it should be a lot longer. Most good leads are at least 3 paragraphs long. For instance, there is nothing about prominent programs or even athletics mentioned in the lead even though both have their own sections in the article. Some more history should also be summarized in the lead. I would see try and list this for a Peer Review or you can mention it at WT:UNI and WT:EDUCATION, two of the wikiprojects it is part of.
