AFD closing for Tim Chey

Can you please take another look at your closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tim Chey? You seem to be ignoring consensus to delete and only relying on the final "keep" vote. The editor who voted keep added several references to the article, but only two of them actually relate to Chey. The other added refs are about his movies and generally only passing mentions. The sole article from a reliable source that appears to have any significant mention of Chey is the Sacramento Bee article, which is unfortunately not available online for free. I believe both the consensus at AFD and the lack of reliable sources for this article suggest delete than than keep. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 13:34, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you with this again, but I have to disagree. As well as the Sacramento Bee article the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, La Crónica de Hoy, Christianity Today and Christian Spotlight articles are about the subject, and there is no requirement for sources to be freely available online. There are also plenty of other articles in the Google News search that I linked that give a few sentences each to the subject. I would also add the first editor to support the nominator gave a weak delete saying that if somebody digs up an article with substantial info (which I did) he would change his mind, and the second delete supporter based his !vote on a badly-formed Google News search, so I don't see how there can be said to be a consensus for deletion. Two more cases of sockpuppetry

Hi Malniccier, it looks like our old friend Mynameisstanley has managed to evade his block again. A new account User:Yellowandpurple was created on 20:28, 13 October 2008. While checking its contributions, i found the edit summaries to be very similar to that of Mynameisstanley.

After a six day gap, he has made a few edits today which bear the hallmark of Mynameissteanley such as deleting references sections, changing the name of the "References section" to "further reading" and above all, deleting dead links. Most of the edits have been made to organized crime related articles.

Also for a newcomer, he shares the same particular prejudice and shows an interest in the deletion of organized crime articles. The most striking similarity of all was in the accounts userpage. He has simply written "Welcome to Wikipedia, Yellowandpurple! Your user account has been created" in order to make the links appear blue, just like Mynameisstanley used to.

This in itself, is sufficient for me to positively identify Yellowandpurple as the same user. Coupled with Mynameisstanley's history of repetitive sockpuppetry, i wouldn't surprised if he is trying to evade his block again. As such, i request you to indefinitely block Mynameisstanley and Yellowandpurple. Thanks. Joyson Noel (talk) 08:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

While checking Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harry Tietlebaum in which Yellowandpurple posted a "strong delete" vote, i became suspiscious of User:Lansing3456 who nominated it for deletion and while checking the user page found that it had the same similarity of the regular Mynameisstanley sockpuppets in that a single sentence "Welcome to Wikipedia" was written to make the link appear blue. This account was created on 02:52, 8 October 2008, and made a series of edits which also bears the same similarities. This seems to be the more active sockpuppet of Mynameisstanley as it has done more edits.

Not surprisingly, his first significant contribution was to nominate the aforementioned article for deletion. He has so far received two vandalism warnings. See this. After this, he blanked the talk page which is what Mynameisstanley always does after receiving vandalism warnings.

Lansing3456 has edited mostly Organized crime related articles previously edited by Mynameisstanley, such as Anthony Graziano, John Gotti, Frank Gotti Agnello, Zeev Rosenstein, etc. His edit summaries are very similar to the other sockpuppets. He is engaged in deleting dead links for the same reason "pay-for website service", deleting huge swaths of information, etc.

In the Arnold Squitieri article, he has made an edit which proves for a point that he is Mynameisstanley. On 15:00, 7 September 2008, Mynameisstanley deleted a huge quote from a gangster falsely claiming that it is copyroghted. I reverted this because quoting someone verbatim is allowed and does not constitute plagiarism. Today, Lansing3456 reverted the edit citing the same reason "copyrighted - word for word from a book".

Furthermore, Lansing3456 and the other sockpuppet, Yellowandpurple, have both edited the same articles Clarion Fund and Aish HaTorah. I believe that this is more than enough to confirm my suspiscions. Please do the needful, and stike the votes made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harry Tietlebaum and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of motorcycle clubs (3rd nomination) by both the accounts. Joyson Noel (talk) 08:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Malniccier, whats the matter? Why didn't you block those accounts? Do you disagree with me? Joyson Noel (talk) 04:31, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Please dont ignore me. This definitely is the guy. Look at his latest edits to organized crime articles. Joyson Noel (talk) 07:08, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for blocking Lansing3456 and Yellowandpurple, Malniccier. However, you have forgotten to indefinitely block Mynameisstanley. I am completely sure that he is the sockmaster for both these accounts. Please do the needful. Joyson Noel (talk) 22:13, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Just hold on for a while. I'm very busy in real life and I don't have a lot of time to deal with Wikipedia matters. When I have time I will block Mynamisstanley indefinitely, but he's blocked for over six months as it is, so there's plenty of time. Cheers, Malinaccier P. (talk) 00:07, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

I understand. Just dont forget to do so, when you have the time, all right. Take Care. Joyson Noel (talk) 05:42, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Can I count on you for a task or two?
