If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Soapy grey matter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cntras (talk) 04:20, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of my page[edit]

I am using this sandbox page for a college assignment, I don't think I titled it right, I am fixing it right now — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nvarade (talkcontribs) 05:12, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and welcome to wikipedia. If you want to create a sandbox page, create it under user namespace. In your case it would be User:Nvarade/pagename. P.s. Whenever you leave a comment please sign it by using four tildes (~~~~). Mannjani (talk) 05:21, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

February 2014[edit]

Information icon Hi Mannjani. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Latec Investments v Hotel Terrigal (in liq) (1965) 113 CLR 265, High Court of Australia, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 14:10, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion of Index of Curaçao-related articles[edit]

I have created this page Index of Curaçao-related articles to complete the list at this page Lists of country-related topics. If any reason apply to delete this page, that reason should also apply all pages on the said list. I request to remove the speedy deletion tag. In future any one can put matter in this articles. If you delete this page, the said list will remain uncomplete. Ameen Akbar (talk) 15:51, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Visone (software). I do not think that Visone (software) fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because Software is not subject to WP:CSD#A7 speedy deletion.. I request that you consider not re-tagging Visone (software) for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 15:54, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Index of Curaçao-related articles. I do not think that Index of Curaçao-related articles fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because A list article is not a suitable subject for either A3 or A7 speedy deletion. I request that you consider not re-tagging Index of Curaçao-related articles for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 16:04, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure that this is a useful article, but it would need to be put up for discussion, not speedy deleted. DES (talk) 16:04, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CSD tagging[edit]

I note that another editor has declined your speedy tags on Latec Investments v Hotel Terrigal (in liq) (1965) 113 CLR 265, High Court of Australia, as well as the two articles on which i declined them. Please pause and review the speedy deletion criteria. Please note that these criteria are to be applied strictly, and a page that does not clearly and explicitly meet one or more of the criteria should not be tagged for speedy deletion. You might want to read User:SoWhy/Common A7 mistakes for some thoughts by an experienced editor on an aspect of this subject. DES (talk) 16:14, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
