File source problem with File:Mair rajputs.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Mair rajputs.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:18, 10 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:18, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

your edits to picture captions in Mede article[edit]

Hi, the Median costume shown in the photographs does not match what you are putting in the picture captions. As you can see in the picture the Medians, especially soldiers, wore knee-high boots, not trousers. This is a well known historical fact often illustrated in carvings, paintings, and written about in chronicles.[1]Zenbb (talk) 06:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Verma Kshatriyas.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
