Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of radio stations in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of radio stations in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of radio stations in San Juan, Puerto Rico. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. -★- PlyrStar93. Message me. 🖉 20:15, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve List of radio stations in Eastern Puerto Rico[edit]

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Many Radiator, thanks for creating List of radio stations in Eastern Puerto Rico!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add clear sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

The article List of radio stations in Arecibo, Puerto Rico has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This duplicates a subset of List of radio stations in U.S. Territories. See WP:WPRS#Lists.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WGCB-TV/WLYH[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give WGCB-TV a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into WLYH (TV). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Mvcg66b3r. An edit that you recently made to WORA-TV seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at WRFB, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:08, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

About WBQM-LD[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give WBQM-LD a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into WNWT-LD. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

WLRX/WAWT, WAKL/WKMF[edit]

Your recent creations of WAWT (FM) and WKMF have yet again been the results of cut-and-paste moves, from WLRX and WAKL respectively. Again, if you are seeking to rename a page, please use the built-in page move tool when possible. It is to be noted as well that a requested move discussion to move WAKL is in progress, so any move of that page during the seven-day discussion period is strongly discouraged. --WCQuidditch 23:41, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cut-and-paste moves[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give KAME-TV a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into KNSN-TV. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. KNSN-TV moved to draftspace[edit]

You can work on the article as a draft, and publish it when it is completed.

WIVE-LD moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, WIVE-LD, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi Many Radiator, pls note that the draft is not ready for mainspace and do not move to it again for it fails the notability and content policy guidelines. For a page to be merit in Wikipedia mainspace, the subject needs to be notable and the content claimed to be supported by signification coverage by published independent, reliable sources where by the sources talk about the subject directly in length and in dept and not merely passing mentioned. Source merely states the existing of the subject is not sufficient. Sources such as official web site, sources from facebook, user generated sources, interviews, press releases, marketing pieces, sources associated with the subject and etc can NOT be used to demonstrate /contribute to the notability requirements needed. Pls provide independent sources (inline citation) and click submit for review. Sources from newspaper or books are good sources and sources can be in any languages. See referencing on how to provide inline citation or for web source pls use "horizontal format" of Template:CITE WEB. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:35, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mvcg66b3r. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, WPBY-LD, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Where's the press release or news article to back this up? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 04:04, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Right here; you just reported an innocent editor to AIV. Nate (chatter) 04:30, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Mrschimpf, Innocent? He didn't provide a source! And you know how shady he is, especially when it comes to station logos (i.e., claiming them as his "own work"). Mvcg66b3r (talk) 04:34, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In this case, they are, and templating them to death rather than being friendly and telling them what they can and can't do isn't helping anyone. Forgetting to provide a source should not result in a block here. Nate (chatter) 04:47, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019 deaths in American television, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page WNYT (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:20, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:CBS USVI[edit]

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Page moves[edit]

As I have mentioned in the past, please use the built-in page move tool when possible if a station has changed its call sign. Your creation of WKRT (FM) was a cut-and-paste move from WJKL (FM). (And in circumstances when a move is not possible, it is best to make a move request — cut-and-paste moves are not allowed for attribution reasons.) --WCQuidditch 19:17, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Many Radiator. You've been reported at the AIV noticeboard. Please don't make any more cut-and-paste moves. If you are unsure about doing moves correctly, ask an experienced editor. My guess is that User:Mvcg66b3r might have some suggestions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:27, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@EdJohnston: the user has made another cut-and-paste move, at WLGA to WGBP. I think I've cleaned everything up. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:17, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Many Radiator. Can you explain why you shouldn't be blocked for making cut-and-paste moves? You seem likely to continue indefinitely. If you just don't know the mechanics of moving articles properly, you can request a move at WP:RMTR and somebody will do it for you. EdJohnston (talk) 00:49, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
