Hello there and thank you for your suggested edits to Piracy. I declined the first suggested edit, as I cited that there was no source to back up the assertion that piracy brought from the sea on land a lot of traditions and pirate games, which at one time were part of the pirate training system. This is a significant assertion to make, that needs to be backed up by a source that covers this, see WP:V. Simply citing a quote from Treasure Island is not a source to cover the fact that priate games were imported to the land. I would have a look over WP:V and WP:PROVEIT to learn more on this. I am not going to deline the new edit request, as I do not want to start an WP:EDITWAR, but would strongly advise you to find a source for your statement.

If you have any questions please ask me on my talk page,

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Pirate game. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Justeditingtoday (talk) 11:15, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
