Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Masterfrascoaudio, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Chris Frasco, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Not autobiography

[edit]

This article was not autobiographical, I am Marco Cinti, the business manager of Master Frasco Audio Lab. While I represent Chris Frasco, he is an award-winning educator, a prolific multi award-nominated mastering engineer with many label credits, and a songwriter with a charted hit. There is no doubt that he is worthy of a Wikipedia article. Please advise. Thank you!

This disclosure needs to be made on your user page, as explained in the welcome message.
Evidence of charting can support notability but I don't see that you've provided any. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 00:10, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a messagebox with a "Submit your draft for a review" button to Draft:Chris Frasco that you can use. However, before submitting the draft you should consider that Wikipedia content should be a summary of what reliable independent sources have reported about the subject. Some of your references do not meet Wikipedia's standards of reliability (e.g. Discogs), many others are not independent (that includes interviews), and yet others are only passing mentions, not the significant coverage of Frasco that we'd need. If the draft is submitted in its current state, then it will not be accepted. It needs better references and very likely quite a bit of rewriting to base the content on what those yet-to-be-found references report. Huon (talk) 22:22, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Marcojcinti. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Chris Frasco".

If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
