Welcome![edit]

Hello, Marcusmas, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Marcusmas/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

A tag has been placed on User:Marcusmas/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Marcusmas. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Miniminter (entertainer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – NJD-DE (talk) 00:42, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 01:54, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do not feel i should be banned the marcusmas is real however i understand that being deleted as i have no sources but the most recent one about miniminter is completely credible i was sharing information about a famous person Marcusmas (talk) 09:49, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why was i blocked? I was sharing information and it was clearly credible Marcusmas (talk) 02:06, 17 December 2021 (UTC) i can not understand the ban i added one stupid atrticle which i can admit too but then i decided to make an actualy good article that builds up the infomation on Wikipedia i added credible sources and links on the article and it was soon after taken down and i was banned Marcusmas (talk) 05:00, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You wrote an article about a holiday that you created and then wrote another about a "YouTuber" with no independent reliable sources to support its content. If you want to tell people about your holiday and this "YouTuber", you should do that on social media, not here. This is a serious project to write an encyclopedia that summarizes independent reliable sources about topics meeting Wikipedia's definition of notability. I would tend to think that you lack the maturity and skills to participate here, but if that's wrong, please tell how you will contribute to this encyclopedia. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:34, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Marcusmas, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. contribs) 05:46, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

i should be not be i have done nothing wrong i added an article about marcusmas and it was understandably denied as i had no proof however i then added an article about simon minter which was completely backed up it had links to the things that he has done and multiple paragraphs that spread information about him Marcusmas (talk) 13:28, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Hi. Several problems with this. First the Marcusmas thing was vandalism. Second you didn't add multiple paragraphs to any article, at least not with this account. What account did you make these edits from? Realistically these unblock requests aren't going anywhere without something more convincing than you've posted so far. If you do wish to have this account unblocked, you'll need a more detailed outline of what you understand about notability and using multiple accounts. -- Euryalus (talk) 21:28, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I sincerely apologise for the misuse of the website, I completely understand that I was giving false information by creating a false holiday and have no intention of doing it again. I would very much appreciate being unbanned as I do not intend to do anything like that again. Marcusmas (talk) 00:57, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Since you don't intend to make any edits, there is no need to unblock you, as blocks only prevent editing. When you have an edit you want to make, you may request unblock at that time. There is no deadline for this, you may take all the time you need. 331dot (talk) 09:16, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What will you do instead? 331dot (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I do not really plan on doing anything if I am unblocked, maybe if I see a mistake it would be nice to correct, but in general I just want to be unblocked as I have believe that I have learned that what I did was stupid and have no intention to do anything like that again.

Request reason:

I am genuinely serverily sorry for what I did. I completely understand why I was blocked from editing, but I can assure that I have no intention of doing anything like that again. I would like to have the ability to edit things on Wikipedia as I regularly use Wikipedia to learn more about things I am interested in and whilst using Wikipedia I often spot mistakes or missing information. However, I can truly say that I have learned my lesson and being unblocked would be greatly appreciated. Marcusmas (talk) 04:49, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The question remains, what edits do you wish to make? 331dot (talk) 11:06, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have no specific edits that I would like to make, but I genuinely want to help in anyway I can.

I cannot give a specific answer to your question, for there is not one. All I can do is hope that you unblock me, out of good faith, and let me prove that I have no intention to do any sort of stupid edits and that I genuinely want to be of help to the site. I have no specific edits that I would like to make, but I genuinely want to help in anyway I can. But an example I can give of something I might be inclined to edit, on the Obi-wan Kenobi Wikipedia page it says his home town is stewjon which was actually a joke and I do not think that it is acknowledged in the page that was a joke and instead trys to back up using tweets as proof it is a real fact.

Opening new unblock requests will in no way 'bump' your request in the queue. The {{unblock}} template isn't designed to be used to reply to comments like the {{re}} template is. Unblock[edit]

Hello, I am still greatly sorry for my previous transgressions against the platform, and I would like to prove this in any way possible. Furthermore, despite not noticing anything that needs to be changed or edited on Wikipedia currently, I want to insure that if unblocked I would constantly be in the lookout for mistakes or missing information, as a way to help the platform. I really do love Wikipedia as a research tool, and I actually enjoy double or even triple checking the information that I find on it. So whilst I do not have any examples of what I would change I can ensure you that I will use the editing tool if it is actually necessary to do so. Again, I give my sincerest apology for wasting time, and for just being an idiot. Marcusmas (talk) 18:58, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would be extremely gereatful if someone could give me some advice on how I can show that I just want to help the Wikipedia community, I am very sorry for what I did, but I was much younger and much more stupid. I really have learnt my lesson. Marcusmas (talk) 10:12, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
