was that really necessary? Maybe I shouldn't have asked to know more about people on wikipedia!! Maybe anonymity is a good thing. :) Marie Mason 09:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leaving?

[edit]

Hey Marie, I recently heard from Petdoc that you and she are planning on leaving Wikipedia. This saddens me greatly. Before you leave I would encourage you to participate in the positive aspects of the community here. If you look at my talk page you will see that I have had quite a different experience than Jon has. This is the community that I believe that wiki really fosters and I would encourage you to give that community a chance. For instance, Oleg, who left you your welcome message, is very active in the mathematics wikiproject and rarely gets involved in the kinds of disputes in which Jon was enmeshed. The science and math wikiprojects, in general, are apolitical and dispute free bastions for editors who wish to improve the breadth and depth of coverage of that subject here at wiki. I would encourage you to make connections within these communities and then make your decision about wiki. Thanks and I hope that you stay--Cronholm144 03:59, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
