Game Screenshots[edit]

Hi there, I found a few of the images you've uploaded today where you were unsure of the copyright status. Screenshots from games should have a {{game-screenshot}} tag, which is the Computer game or video game screenshot option in the drop-down box when you upload. --David Johnson [T|C] 15:16, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome[edit]

Hi, Mariomaster1589! I'm glad you found the welcome helpful. If you need anything, feel free to leave me a message. By the way, User:David Johnson left you the note above, not me. You can tell by the different signatures and timestamps. :) Regards, Sango123 (talk) 16:04, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Jigspin.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jigspin.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 22:57, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on AppJet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Speedy deletion of Stop Is The New Go[edit]

A tag has been placed on Stop Is The New Go requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. §FreeRangeFrog 03:44, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
