Hello, MariusEllingsen47. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Adrian Grønnevik Smith, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TigraanClick here to contact me 14:56, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Petrus A. Christensen

[edit]

Hello, MariusEllingsen47,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Petrus A. Christensen should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Petrus A. Christensen .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, TigraanClick here to contact me 15:02, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Third Eye

[edit]

I notice that you added wikilinks to a page for the Norwegian TV series "The Third Eye" to Ida Elise Broch and Third eye (disambiguation) but the page that you are trying to link to doesn't exist. If you are intending to create an English page based on the Norwegian page Det tredje øyet, please add the links after the page has been created. Thanks, Rob - Robman94 (talk) 15:07, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you've added the The Third Eye (Norwegian TV series) page now, so I have added wikilinks to it from the two pages that I mentioned earlier. Robman94 (talk) 19:06, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nipper Read, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brits. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Pax (film)

[edit]

Hi Marius, would you be interested in creating an English language page for the Norwegian movie "Pax"? Robman94 (talk) 19:46, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Robman94, I am interested in creating an English language page for the Norwegian movie "Pax". MariusEllingsen47 (talk) 13:02, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great, let me know if I can help. Robman94 (talk) 16:55, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for starting Pax (2011 film), but in its current state the page is likely to be deleted because it has no references. Could you please copy and translate as much info as you can, including the references, from the Norwegian page over to the English page. Robman94 (talk) 20:49, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi Marius, you've probably noticed that most of the pages that you have created have been instantly put up for deletion, the main reason for this is that your pages generally don't include references. References from reliable sources are required to (a) establish notability and (b) verify the claims made in the articles. References shouldn't just be a random list of links added at the end of an article, they should be inline citations so the reader is clear which statement the reference is supporting. Take a look at the changes that I made to your Endre Lund Eriksen page to see how references should be added. Also, when someone opens an AfD on one of your pages, it's a good idea for you to post something in the AfD page stating why you believe the page should not be deleted. The main complaint will be notability, so your message should state why you believe the subject is notable. Rob - Robman94 (talk) 17:04, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pax (2011 film)

[edit]

According to other wikis as well as the IMDB, Pax (2011 film) was actually released in 2010. Wgolf (talk) 21:23, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

But according to Filmweb and the Norwegian Wikipedia, the film was actually released in 2011, Wgolf. But I'm not sure how we should say it. Was either released in 2010 or 2011? MariusEllingsen47 (talk) 06:01, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Wgolf: I agree that this movie was released in 2011, it was the book that was released in 2010. As it's a Norwegian movie, if we're going to trust other wikis, I would trust the Norwegian one the most, which says 2011, plus here's a reliable source in English: tnp.no Robman94 (talk) 15:12, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Thomas & Friends episodes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. As I said above I didn't open the ANI thread I just told you it was there. TBH I have no idea why the editor opened the thread when it was a content issue, without first discussing it with you as would be proper. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 18:29, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
