Hello. I believe that my article is sufficiently different from the Capacitive sensing article. That article refers to the type of sensing technology used in human interfaces such as mouse trackpads and Ipod click wheels. The article I have submitted is about sensing technology for precise distance measurements used in manufacturing processes. While some of the theoretical underpinnings of the technologies are similar, the actual types of sensors involved and their applications are quite different. If anything, it might be wise to re-title the Capacitive sensing article to something more specific like "Capacitive Human Interface Devices" since that would better match the content of the article.
