Page move discussion

Hi Marokwitz,

There's a discussion going on about whether or not the "Kosher tax" article should be moved back to its original name. Since you were the editor who moved it in the first place, I thought you might want to explain your rationale. The discussion is at Talk:Kosher tax (antisemitic canard)#Move back to "Kosher Tax". Jayjg (talk) 07:39, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

You made the recent move [1] towards its current title - Kosher tax (antisemitic canard). Could you please tell us why you made this move without requesting, proposing, debating, or asking for the agreement of other users? I'm very interested to know your reasons for not following the proper procedure at all. Please present your reasons in the article's talkpage Kosher tax (antisemitic canard)#Move back to "Kosher Tax". Much obliged. Flamarande (talk) 19:15, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

I explained the rationale in the talk page, and also agreed to a number of alternative names in attempt to reach an acceptable compromise. Back then I did not foresee this would be controversial in any way. After all, the article's first sentence says explicitly that this article is about the antisemitic canard. What's so controversial about using this in the title? Are you saying that the topic of the article is not the antisemitic canard? Marokwitz (talk) 19:52, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on CTERA Networks, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of CTERA Networks and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Glrx (talk) 16:44, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks

Hi Marokwitz, Thanks for your input on this DR. Maybe because you did rename the article, you could consider changing your vote to "keep"? Regards.--Mbz1 (talk) 03:00, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
