Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Welcome to Wikipedia, Marrim45. I did get your message on my talk page; sorry for the delay in responding. It's been a busy time of year.

I have taken another look at SimulTrans, and here are a few suggestions for you. First off, you have not soundly established why this company is notable. Some ways of doing that would be linking to references showing that it has provided services to well-known companies; if it is a publicly traded company, discussing its stock market performance using reliable sources; some indication of its income, work force, etc; and, most importantly, independent, third party reference sources that can be used to verify the information in the article. The welcome template I've linked above will give you some further suggestions and links to look at. Another handy link for formatting the article is Wikipedia:Cheatsheet. I notice that the article is, shall we say, very positive about the company, and may not meet our neutral point of view policy.

I hope you will find this helpful in developing the article you are currently working on. I'll confess that I don't really do much writing in the business field, so I'm not in a position to give you a lot of hands-on assistance, but I hope you will find the above to be helpful. April 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article SimulTrans, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 15:22, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article SimulTrans has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NN company. Article created as an Wp:ADVERT by WP:COI editor. Marketing propaganda has been removed but there is not assertion of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Toddst1 (talk) 15:24, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of SimulTrans[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is SimulTrans. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SimulTrans. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:04, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
