Australian rivers

[edit]

Hello, I have proposed moving a few of your river moves back to to where they were- see Talk:Castlereagh River (New South Wales), Regards Crusoe8181 (talk) 11:00, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Crusoe8181, please do not move the mentioned geodis back, as they provide additional information and the respective articles for all the mentioned rivers do exist in the German Wikipedia - they just have to be translated to English. Details see at Talk:Castlereagh River (New South Wales). --MartinHansV (talk) 13:41, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Necarne

[edit]

Hi, MartinHansV! Well done for noticing the copyvio at Necarne! Just for the record: the site you identified is recent, and probably a WP:backwardscopy; but the content was definitely copy-pasted (directly or indirectly) from this page archived in 2001, which is copied from Necarne Castle and the Ulster Lakeland Equestrian Park by Breege McCusker, published in 1995. So you did well to list it, many thanks!.

What I'm sorry about is that your German translation is also, for that reason, and through no fault of yours, a copyright violation, and so should presumably be removed and then rewritten.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
