Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! August 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BusterD. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Playland (New York), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your assertions might well be true, but you are removing material that is cited from reliable sources. If you have more current and accurate information, we'd appreciate your re-adding it, but only with accompanying reliable sources, say from magazines, newspapers or such sources' online equivalents. BusterD (talk) 15:04, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Playland (New York). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please don't get discouraged. However, your recent contributions can be considered edit warring. Please don't continue making these edits without providing sources, or without discussing this on the Playland talk page. Nobody seems to be saying your assertions are untrue. What we are saying is that we need evidence what you're saying is true, and that the burden of proof is on the editor making changes from a sourced version. If you have reasons for these contributions, please discuss these reasons on the talk page, or right here on your own talk page. BusterD (talk) 16:26, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MaryKayeKoch, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
