Proposed deletion of Saawan the movie (2016)[edit]

The article Saawan the movie (2016) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFF with no sources confirming that filming has commenced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Tele-Film - a Melodrama Riyasat Mae Riyasat is an eye opener about the fragile legal and judicious system which have turned a blind eye on the deteriorating situation of the prisons, "Justice is delayed; Justice is Denied". Political facts in Pakistan has been brought onto the screen, opens up minds against the bigotries in all forms. Cold war between the State, Polity and the commoners. City is running by the local gang mafias and the Police State is helpless, State within a State.

Plot:

Munawer Saeed (Abba - Godfather) to four young men. Five men are living in a low income apartment, sharing comical jokes in the middle of night. The intellect is showing all the time in their dialogues, but by looking at physical appearance,they are typical proletarians. In the midst of the story, a city violence has erupted, heavy firing started right outside the street, but, they keep continuing their jolly discussions, as it was a routine for them and nothing has happened. They are critical and sarcastically bitter, but continued there routine inside their apartment. A new face appears in the story: There is a knock on the door, a young beautiful girl (Hyba Ali as Alina) is screaming for help, she was frightened, and horrified. Gentlemen allow her to be rescued in their apartment for over the night. This beautiful young girl is initially bit nervous but then has started enjoying the unique sense of humor. All young male characters have introduced themselves as brothers and sons of Abba (Godfather). Abba is a retired University Professor. All four young male characters now start trying hard to impress the girl with their individual bygone acumen ( Arif Bahalim one is a lawyer, Saleem Meraj is a journalist, Adnan Shah is a Student political activist and Rashid Farooqui is a businessman/ Cricketer). During these interesting conversations, girl has introduced herself as Pakistani descent, who was born and raised in Canada, came to visit her uncle, but, because of the erupted violence got stuck in their apartment.

All 5 male characters, keep teasing each other in a  unique sarcastic manner along with the flavor of local political sad satire of affairs in Pakistan. They all have interesting views on global politics as well. Abba has been a moderator and keeping them in control. He is behaving as a true guardian and is very pleasant with the girl.

Abba continues to talk about a hidden history. He keeps emphasizing the fact, the history we were taught is fabricated. Hyba Ali first confronted then started accepting the facts. Four young men revealed, ABBA is not their biological father, They respect him as their Godfather and have complete faith in Abba She seems highly impressed. She is single, and she has disclosed her status, all four young men, are doing their best on their individual smartness to merry her. They all try to propose her one by one, but every time, ended up fighting within each other, and she is enjoying this tug of war, or perhaps can't decide to pick who? All is executed with humor, sarcasm and beautiful dialogue delivery.

In the last 1/3rd, two of the sons, went out to search for the food in the middle of erupted violence,  story has made the twist.  Police tracked one of them (Saleem Meraj) as he was wanted in a high crime. Police reached the apartment, and surrounded the building. Abba convinced all young men, as if fight back, Hyba Ali would get killed with them. They surrendered.

Hyba Ali was actually a Police Spy and wanted to get information from these five men, who had been absconded - fugitive for a while. She disguised herself, Abba knew from the begining, she was a spy, but he wanted to follow the rule of democracy, as all four young men had allowed her to be rescued that night. Hyba Ali found out, all these five so called convicted fellowmen, highly intelligent, they were the victims of political differences, They stood against the Bigotry. They stood against the establishment. They made ONE mistake, they breached the LAW. She learns from them, the law, which is to begin with, has been made to protect feudalism, Protects few families, groups - Oligarchy. Story contains a Strong message: 1- Searching history is an educational process, needing thorough investigation to get on to the truth, otherwise, history is all manipulated. 2- Democracy is defined and has been manipulated by local establishments according to selfish needs of Oligocracy. 3- Justice is delayed, Justice is Denied.

Still very very rough, also curious why the title and the name you use in the lead don't match up. I see you added a couple more references, although I still don't see much in the aspect of notability. You could make the claim that since they won an award, this clause of notability applies: "The film has received a major award for excellence in some aspect of filmmaking." but I couldn't find anything to suggest that award was "major".
