Greetings.

I see that with this edit you have reverted a change which I made in an attempt to undo vandalism from a pair of edits. The second edit, which I caught first, was made seven minutes after the first edit. Both edits originated from a shared IP address User:170.158.172.2 which has been blocked for repeated vandalism.

Coincidentally (and unfortunately), during that same seven minutes between the two vandalism edits, you also made this edit to the Slinky article, changing the article to state that the Slinky's inventor, Richard James, was an army engineer, instead of a naval engineer.

I believe this was a good-faith edit and apologize for undoing your initial edit and also for causing you to re-do your work. My only concern over your edit is that the Wikipedia article on Mr. James currently states that he was a naval engineer; the two articles contradict each other on this point.

Perhaps you would consider also editing the Richard James article to remove this contradiction?

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
