Yeah, you're right, that wasn't vandalism. My mistake, sorry! delldot talk 16:00, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well definitely let me know if you need any help or anything! I love to lend a hand, so don't be shy ;-) Peace, delldot talk 16:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, not sure. Lemme look at it, and I'll get back to you in a minute. You maybe should bring up the change on the talk page of the article to make sure other editors are cool with it before making a big change like that, so people don't get touchy. With the added advantage of someone might do it for you if everyone agrees it should be done.  ;-) delldot talk 16:09, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey again, I looked at both articles. I think if you make the same change again, the bot won't revert you, because it's not supposed to revert the same thing twice (I could be wrong there though). But I definitely think talking about it on the discussion page first would be the way to go. It looks like another editor didn't like the idea of the split, proposing that the material be merged back into the main article. But I bet if you bring up the fact that you think the article's too long on the talk page you can come to an agreement about something to do. I can help if you want, or I can leave the note myself. Peace, delldot talk 16:17, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How about I put a note on the talk page about the split, and you can comment there? Sorry for all the hassle, we're really not trying to be a pain! Peace, delldot talk 16:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:08, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Writers strike 2007-2008 backround information., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. January 2008[edit]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Writers strike 2007-2008 backround information.. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. ScarianCall me Pat 16:16, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, sorry about all the vandal warnings, it's just that we revert so much vandalism that anything that looks like it gets reverted quickly (e.g. large removals of text). Don't worry, we'll get it worked out. Peace, delldot talk 16:20, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
