List of Indian film actors[edit]

You're removing a lot of actors from that list. Can you please explain why? I have a guess, but I don't know for certain, and unless an explanation is given, I will need to revert your removals as indiscriminate blanking. When removing reliable information from an article, especially on such a large degree, you absolutely need to use edit summaries to explain your actions. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:39, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I think I can. You see the names I have deleted are all females (actresses) and we already have a page "List of Indian film actresses". So in effect it is duplication. Hence the redaction. In "List of Indian film actors" we should plan to put the names of only male Indian actors.Mastmastkalandar (talk) 06:02, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, yes, I see. That makes sense. Next time, if you use an edit summary like "Females; will move to List of Indian film actresses", at least once or twice if you're doing it in multiple steps, that would help explain. Qwyrxian (talk) 06:43, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanx for the advice,I will bear it in mind next time. Mastmastkalandar (talk) 16:13, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kumbh Mela, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Saraswati River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for pointing out the error. I have made the amendment.--Mastmastkalandar (talk) 12:08, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
