Ronald Reagan[edit]

Hi, reguarding your post on Talk:Ronald Reagan. While I agree people should know how presidents compare to each other, that is not the purpose of his BLP page. It would be more appropriate to make those arguments on Presidency of Ronald Reagan.

But the reason I brought this to your talk page instead of the article talk is that post is a combination of wp:npov and wp:soapbox. It's the npov part that concerns me, that is a one sided comparison with no balance or context to it. Seemingly designed to present the view that Democrat policies are superior. I also did not appreciate the personal comments on competency. (As an aside I am a senior mechanical engineer, and have been for too many years. I understand and appreciate the work of competent engineers and scientists.) PackMecEng (talk) 17:11, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Even though you don't seem to agree yet, this your post is very decent. Keep it up! However, despite your politeness, it would be nice if you could, on occasion, believe at least one word of what I'm saying. In this way, you would demonstrate true appreciation, since you would acknowledge my competence. --Mathmensch (talk) 22:27, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
