Heya[edit]

Interesting comment about Martin and Tony... can you source it? Also to let you know that you should use ~~~~ to sign comments on talk pages. However, again, welcome to Wikipedia! - Ta bu shi da yu 13:42, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Be careful[edit]

Hey, I know the constant vandalism to the Karl Stefanovic page is pretty irritating but you may want to stick to the regular regiment of user warnings rather than making your own like you did at User talk:Scmods. At worst it could be viewed as a personal attack and at best it is uncivil and could be construed as feeding the trolls. Besides, if they continue to vandalize after the full series of warnings has been issued they can be blocked, just an added incentive to use the templates. Good luck and keep up the good vandalism reverts. Stardust8212 01:22, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IF YOU ARE SUCH A FAN OF GET THIS WHY DON'T YOU LET US VANDALISE THE STEFANOVIC WEBSITE. TONY INSISTS WE DO IT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattao10 (talkcontribs) 10:46, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mattao10, Thanks so much for your comment! But I must keep up with restoring this page back to its glory. Granted when "Get This" first brought it up all that time ago it was... funny. Now though it angers allot of people that visit/run these pages. Thanks for being a fan of the show though and I hope you find something else to enjoy when they go off the air. --MattyC3350 10:59, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Armitage Shanks[edit]

Calm down, Richard has endorsed the nicknames on his page, so as I see it's all legit, seeing as how it is HIS profile... as in belonging to him. Why do you hate him?124.176.180.118 (talk) 07:54, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there thanks for commenting back. I do love Richard Marsland and my love for Get This goes greater then any love I ever had before. Unfortunatly though my love for Wikipedia also runs a deep course through me and I feel as though I should help fight the attack of wrong information so that others can have a more logical page to view. When listning back to the Podcasts there was one moment when Tony and Ed did try to get Richard to give permission to use the nicknames on his Wiki, but allas he never gave a final answer only skipping around it. --MattyC3350 (talk) 08:07, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Get This Debacle[edit]

Howdy. Thanks for deleting the Get This Debacle section. I had tried to remove it several times but a user with an anonymous IP address kept reverting the deletion and I didn't want to get into an edit war. Thanks again. Jonesy (talk) 23:53, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No worrys MCR. Thanks for bringing it to attention in the Get This Talk Page. Looks like whoever it was has had enough so lets hope it stays that way. --MattyC3350 (talk) 06:41, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Star Trek Alphabetic Edit[edit]

Hey, don't worry about it. The change was made anonymously after your last edit to the article, so it's not something you should have caught on your revert anyway. All the best, Steve TC 09:17, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Febuary => February[edit]

It has to be said that if you correctly correct the spelling of February several hundred time, you start to get the hang of it. February can also be misspelled several ways. Tabletop (talk) 08:55, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Tony Martin Photo[edit]

Thanks for the note. It's not the greatest of photos (blurry), but has some comedy value at least! (where is he pointing?)  :-) --ozzmosis (talk) 09:15, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spaceballs Animated[edit]

Here's a possible source for the info that you deleted - [1]. It doesn't prove that it did air, but it does indicate that future episodes will be airing. --luckymustard (talk) 13:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers and thanks for the info. MattyC3350 (talk) 05:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Icarus Factor (trivia)[edit]

Hey, If you check the trivia guidelines it says. This guideline does not suggest removing trivia sections, or moving them to the talk page. If information is otherwise suitable, it is better that it be poorly presented than not presented at all. Thanks Ziphon (ALLears) 06:22, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with this. There are a couple of items that can be left there under "Production Notes", but the others are no more then just Trivia, with no bearing on the article as a full. If people want more of an indepth article then they should go to "Star Trek Wiki". If we let people place up every little Trivia related subject in any Series/Films then it wont be long untill we have pages that are way to long and cloged up. I have removed the Trivia related items and left the others under the new heading of "Production Notes" MattyC3350 (talk) 11:08, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you to a certain extent. The guidelines, do mention if the information is otherwise suitable. Its not easy to decide whats suitable.(We have to consider how interested readers will be in this information among other things). I personally feel trivia sections are informative.Ziphon (ALLears) 12:54, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I personally think that Trivia sections are Informative and Entertaining as well and was not happy to find out that they are not part of Wiki Policy anymore. I am just trying to work on the Star Trek Articles to get them to a point where they meet the guidelines (A long and windy road awaits me.) I have tried to keep items that relate the the show/episode as a full in there and any ideas you have would be great. Even if we can incorporate them into the actuall article. Take it easy anyways and sorry if this has been a pain. MattyC3350 (talk) 13:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well?[edit]

Well? You got something to say to me say it on my talk page. That was hardly relevant to improving the article. Alientraveller (talk) 11:33, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the most social person in the world, but I do try to answer succinctly or link the rules. Perhaps "because it's not important" was brusque, but I was unsure of what else to say, because that was the point, and another caretaker of the article concurred. Truth is, these threads about me, even if it is praise, easily wind up an antenna for abuse. Alientraveller (talk) 14:37, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
