==Draft:Verdun House==

I, Mayerz 14, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Mayerz 14 (talk) 15:40, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What can I do to change this???

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Verdun House, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A little help... What do I need to do to have this organisation's page back up and running? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mayerz14 (talkcontribs)

The page was deleted as being blatantly promotional. I don't have access to the deleted article, so I dont' recall exactly what the problem was, but if your article reads like an ad for the subject, it is not appropriate for Wikipedia. If it is copied directly from the subject's website, it is probably not appropriate for Wikipedia. If it speaks extensively in the first person (we do this, we do that, ...) it is probably not appropriate for Wikipedia. If it is written in neutral language, and cites multiple independent reliable sources to verify its content, than it's probably OK. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:39, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Communicating with other users

[edit]

When you wish to communicate with another Wikipedia user, you should edit their user talk pages, not their user pages. Specifically, you recently edited User:Smartse, when I believe it was your intention to edit User talk:Smartse. You might want to address that. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:11, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Verdun House, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:40, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Verdun House

[edit]

Hello, Mayerz 14. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Verdun House".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Verdun House}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 11:18, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
