Good Gad

Good Gad--you're nominating categories that intersect the topics of Australia and cricket!! (If only they were Jewish teams, you'd complete the long sought after trifecta.) I'm going to head to my bomb shelter now ... Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:14, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

LOL! This heat s getting to me, I guess - been feeling like Australia here, wouldn t you say - Queensland to be precise. I was sure your message was someone looking to bowl one between my eyes, or sth Mayumashu (talk) 00:25, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
I can't hear you, I'm in my bomb shelter. Mind you, I assume they don't hate you so I'm sure they'll be nice. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:15, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

The article Nick Best has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, notability therefore unclear

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SlimVirgin talk|contribs 01:20, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Deanna Casaluce, an article that you are main contributor to, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alex Steele. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. 117Avenue (talk) 04:28, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

You got the wrong dude - I ve never edited this article Mayumashu (talk) 06:44, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
According to the contributors you edited it five times between September 2005 and March 2007. I checked back to those dates, all your edits were on the categories. 117Avenue (talk) 17:55, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
I think you mean Alex Steele and not Deanna Casaluce. In that case, I may have been a main contributor, to the cats as you say. Okay, I ll take a look. Thanks, Mayumashu (talk) 17:57, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I've tagged the above category you may have created, as CSD C1 because it's seemingly empty.

If you do not want this category deleted, please populate it appropriately, or make a note on the talk page of the category concerned. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:54, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

I had populated it and some other user has apparently since emptied it. Delete it if you want - it can always be recreated should the need rearise. Mayumashu (talk) 15:04, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Ethnicity

Please don't add uncited, unclaimed ethnicity and descent categories to articles, as you have done a number of times, including here.--TM 10:37, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

I ll make the claim then, though, I can t find a source for Maclean's Scottish roots, it seems. Sources for ethnic descent claims are few and generally the ones there are are non-reputable, which adds to the case for not having the category tree at all on WP. Mayumashu (talk) 13:26, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Don't make the claim without a source. I know you understand WP:BLP. A claimed ethnicity could be heavily disputed and simply wrong.--TM 06:44, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Toowoomba

Hi. Regarding your move of the above article, you may be interested to read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Australia and Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (geographic names)/Archives/2010/August#Australian place name convention. I would suggest that Toowoomba (city) should be at Toowoomba (as that is by far the primary use) and that Toowoomba (disambiguation) should cover all other uses. -- Mattinbgn\talk 01:02, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay. I d originally requested the move to just 'Toowoomba' but then thought the extra disambiguation would be good, but I think you are right - I ll see if I can move it as you suggest. Mayumashu (talk) 01:07, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
