Richmond

I've closed the Richmond nomination to keep category:People from Richmond, Virginia, but allow for the creation of Category:People from the Greater Richmond Region. So if you want to migrate the non-Richmonders to that more expansive category, please do so. (None of the A's are from outside Richmond, but that's as far as I checked.) Also, in the Speedy section you nominated a bunch of Eastern European categories to remove a "the". Are you planning to take that to full CfD, or remove the nomination from Speedy without further action?--Mike Selinker (talk) 11:06, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Re: Given the notability guidelines for tennis players there are now...

Hi there pal, sorry for the late reply. I agree with your suggestion to have a more lenient criterion but since many doesn't seems to agree with it (as in the previous discussion) I think it's better if we leave it as it is. And yea, we could always start a new discussion at WT:NSPORTS to reach consensus but I doubt many would want to participate. In the previous discussion I'd been inviting many to join in to discuss the matter together but sadly only a few show up; and as a result we couldn't get a strong consensus. I may not also be able to participate in any future discussion though as I am not as active as before; quite busy in real life. Thank you for your kind invitation anyway Mayumashu and best of luck. Regards, Arteyu ? Blame it on me ! 11:16, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
