Greetings

I knew there was a Truro in Massachusetts, but not Canada so I've learnt something today! I would suggest using Twinkle for AfDs, PRODs, etc. Go to My preferences, Gadgets and tick Twinkle in the Editing gadgets section. Save and it will then appear on any article you visit as a drop-down menu alongside Edit and View History. It has been a life-saver for me because it saves a lot of time and automatically leaves a message on the talk page of the article creator. Argyle 4 Lifetalk 16:48, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Alright, I'll check it out. Actually, and further coincidentally, when I noticed your nomination I was on the page too to nominate a soccer player bio (actually 6 or 7) for deletion. If you have a moment, I hope you'll contribute to those discussions. Yeah, I don't know why we'd be named Truro here where there was no Cornish immigration (or at least not a wave of) - many of the settlers of Truro here (Nova Scotia) came from Ulster, Ireland, others from Yorkshire and Scotland. They may have just named it after Truro, Mass. - a lot of New Englanders came here and vice-versa around the time before and when the States separated from England. Indeed I have. I used to stick to my bread and butter which was Plymouth Argyle and English football, but I've been more involved over the last year and contributing to AfDs is one of them. It's always good to see the word Argyle used around the world. Argyle 4 Lifetalk 02:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
