Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Kitchener Kickers players

Bobby Leonard

Bobby "Slick" Leonard is not a sensible article title, as quotes in the article title is non-standard. If you think Slick is his WP:COMMONNAME, start a requested move, but we shouldn't be unilaterally moving pages, especially when they're on the main page. Given that sources before to him as Bobby, Slick and Bob, any move would be controversial, and need to be discussed. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:34, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

It may not be a sensible name, you mean, for the reasons you've given. Revert it if you want. (I follow basketball and virtually everyone refers to him as either 'Slick' or 'Bobby Slick'; people who know him will call him 'Bob') Mayumashu (talk) 13:39, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

And as per MOS:NICKNAME, "If a person has a common English-language hypocorism (diminutive or abbreviation) used in lieu of a given name,[i] it is not presented between quotation marks or parentheses within or after their name."
