Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or write things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. We're sorry if this message has discouraged you from editing here, but the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 21:03, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ms Melcuos,

I am fully aware of the fact that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and I was writing to this place to improve your article on "György Droppa", which is full of false or misleading information. I have checked the references and sources of this article thoroughly and, after having consulted with the person concerned several times, I decided to collect the referred sources and other publications available to refute the beforementioned article. The refutation of the original text of the Wikipedia article on György Droppa is large and many times over the usual Wikipedia text size. For your kind information I am informing you that on 4th December 2018 I wrote an e-mail to the Wikimedia Hungary, personally to Mr. Peter Gervai in this matter, who replied me on 11th December 2018 saying „ I can copy and forward your letter to the public site of Wikipedia and the editorial community could react.” Mr. Gervai confimed that he had forwarded my refutation.

Regretfully upto this very moment no reaction in merit has come from you. Only ypour Yun Shui replied and offered help For this reason I started talk on this article. My only intention is to refute, or correct or delete the Wikipedia article on „György Droppa” in a proper way. Best regards MbenyikMbenyik (talk) 11:32, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply. This is your user talk page, it is a place to communicate with other editors, not a place to copy content from articles, which is why I removed it. You can still see the content in the edit history and there are other options open to you including starting discussion on the article's Talk page, using your sandbox or even creating a new draft article. However, please note that the English wikipedia is quite different to and separate from the Hungarian wikipedia so your discussions there have no bearing on what happens here. It is also important to know that as you have stated above that you have "consulted with the person concerned" you have a conflict of interest regarding this article and as such should carefully read the guidelines below, and not edit the article directly yourself. Thank you, Melcous (talk) 12:53, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
