Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Iran–Iraq War. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. --M4gnum0n (talk) 17:34, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on Talk:Iran–Iraq War, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --M4gnum0n (talk) 23:25, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mblur, please don't edit war. Other editors obviously don't agree with your proposed changes. You need to seek consensus on the talkpage. If you keep adding and reverting the same edit in the article you will simply find yourself getting blocked. If you think you are right and you have the sources to support your edit, make that clear on the talkpage and then seek opinions from uninvolved editors through one of the dispute resolution procedures like WP:3PO or WP:RFC or WP:RSN.Fainites barleyscribs 11:06, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus[edit]

Hey Mblur, just a heads up. "Stalemate" wasn´t a previous consensus, it is a new addition to the results section, so just avoid mentioning it as a previous consensus. I was mentioning "Tactical iranian failure" as a previous consensus because for over an year that phrase has stood in the results section, until that user decided to remove it. Take a look at wp:brd. When I disagreed with his removal, we should have discussed it on the talk page until either the old consensus was restores or a new one was obtained. There is nothing wrong with you adding stalemate to the results, just don´t label it as a previous consensus or someone might wrongly think that you are trying to push your point of view. Take care and good editing. Thank you. Uirauna (talk) 22:49, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think he listened. The Scythian 00:27, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added this section after he made the changes on the Iran-Iraq War page, let´s hope he get the message :) Uirauna (talk) 00:52, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know he did. It was a joke. Everyone's getting so serious nowadays... The Scythian 18:37, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do not worry yourself Scythian77; indeed I have listened. Fair enough Uirauna, my mistake. Mblur (talk) 15:21, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I ain't too worried. The Scythian 18:37, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That is good Scythian77, you have relaxed yourself and this is an improvement from your worries. Also, I like your joke, it is an instance/example of the fact you highlighted to me(your relief from worries)Mblur (talk) 20:28, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
