Welcome
[edit]Our article concerning context effect will begin with a clear lead section. This section will provide a basic summary of our article and also an outline of what areas will be covering in the article. The outline will lay out the areas of research we plan on discussing in the article. The general outline of our paper will begin with the definition of what a context effect is and how it impacts us daily. Under a separate heading we will look at the history of research done in developing an understanding of context effects, and the basic cognitive principles employed by it such as top-down processing. We can then examine the current research being done on the topic and discuss in what direction future research will be heading. In the last section we can look at the different roles of context effects, such as in words or the object superiority effect. The article that currently looks at context effects greatly lacks detail, structure, and citations. By using the outline above we can greatly increase the articles detail and structure. We will cite as much information in the article as possible to improve on the current articles lack of citations.--McCrae Jones (talk) 01:23, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Psychological Context Effects
[edit]On 28 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Psychological Context Effects, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that in sound recognition, context effects from other sounds in the environment cause us to change the way we categorize a sound? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
