User talk:Mcwabaunsee
Hello Mcwabaunsee. Welcome to Wikipedia! This is a website where everyone is welcomed to pitch in their own knowledge to just about anything in the world's most up-to-date encyclopedia.
The quick links to Wikipedia are on the left side of every page. Here're some links that you should take time reading them (don't worry, they're short and very easy to understand)
If you need help, simply go to Wikipedia:Questions or ask on my talk page. Last thing, don't forget to sign your name when you do edits on a talk page. Signing a page is as easy as typing four tildes (~~~~). I hope that your experience in Wikipedia will be a memorable one.
Additionally, I want to thank you for your effort on Caterpillar, Inc. in Wikipedia:WikiProject Environment/Environmental Record Task Force. I have added a running total for you at Wikipedia:WikiProject Environment/Environmental Record Task Force#Contributions. Next time please update the # yourself. Many thanks.

Introduction
[edit]Hiya. There's been a little bit of concern on Wikipedia about the large number of new users that have arrived and started adding environmental material to articles. Perhaps this is for a university class? It might be useful to make that clear. That would help reduce miscommunication and confusion.
And if so, I've coordinated a class project on the encyclopedia, and would be happy to help out. Do drop me a note on my talk page, or reply here if you wish. --jbmurray (talk • contribs) 04:04, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Also, if this is for a class, then you might be interested in some of the information at our wikiproject on School and University participation. There was also a recent article in the Signpost, our internal newsjournal, that might make for an informative read. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 17:03, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Hostile Control Tactics
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hostile Control Tactics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DGaw (talk) 02:56, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
