Parasite (2019) for GA

I have decided to nominate the page, Parasite (2019 film), as a Good Article nominee. As I am not a frequent editor on its page, I have been told to talk to the editors who have worked the most on it. According to the statistics, you have added and edited 10.3% of the page. I wanted to leave this here when the nomination went up so you could join the discussion as soon as possible. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 02:08, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

@Some Dude From North Carolina: Hi. I didn't contribute content, I just fixed the references. Sorry. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 19:45, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

Misidentification of IPs as static

I rescinded a filing at WPOP just now because I think it was based on misidentification of some hosts as static IPs by the geolocate tool. None of them were showing up as proxies with any tool that I tried. ☆ Bri (talk) 12:56, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Open Proxies - status?

Hey Mdaniels, I know you're one of the more active folks at WikiProject open proxies. I watch it from a distance and have blocked every so often, but my impression is that the project is kinda dead right now (if nothing else, almost nobody on the "approved users" list is active at the project). Does that match your observations? If so, I'm thinking about putting together a plan to restart it as an organized effort and soliciting for new members, but I wanted to check with you before doing anything in case I've completely misread the situation. GeneralNotability (talk) 00:52, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Mdaniels! You closed my unsuccessful TfD for {{Current COVID-19}} back in April. The world's understanding that this pandemic is not just a news blip but an era has obviously evolved a lot since then, so I'm thinking about renominating. It (remarkably) still has over 60 transclusions, many of which probably deserve {{Update}} at this point, but I continue to feel that the {{Current}} family is being wildly misused when applied to this situation (the main current tag is removed by a bot whenever an article remains unmodified for several hours), and I hope other editors may see that more clearly now. Since my nomination last time didn't go over so well, though, I wanted to do a quick gut check with you before starting the new TfD: are my concerns reasonable, or would I just be reviving a battle I lost? {{u|Sdkb}}talk 05:46, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
