June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. creffett (talk) 00:52, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mdkolodzi. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Michael D. Kolodzi".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 06:18, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mdkolodzi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page International Football Alliance, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Bbb23 (talk) 19:17, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All I am changing on the Wiki page is false statements and misspellings. As the attorney for the league, I have true knowledge of the teams involved and their situations.
They are not argumentative changes. There is no conflict of interest. I am reiterating facts, as it stands right now, concerning the teams involved (how many and which cities).
Where is the problem? Mdkolodzi (talk) 19:21, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As far as Wikipedia is concerned, you clearly have a conflict of interest, which means that you must follow the procedures above, including declaring the conflict on your userpage, and not editing the article directly, but instead proposing any changes on the article Talk page using {{edit COI}}. If you don't follow those procedures, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:29, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And are you with Wikipedia or are you the person that is posting the inaccurate statements?
Let's recap my changes:
1. Only 5 teams, not 6 in inaugural season;
2. There is no San Diego Team;
3. Ric Serritella is not involved with the IFA;
4. The works "revealed" and "season" were misspelled; and
5. The FAM league is no longer existent. Thus, they are not a direct competitor. Mdkolodzi (talk) 19:32, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am a Wikipedia administrator. This is not the place to discuss your changes. My warning to you stands. It's up to you whether you comply with Wikipedia's policies.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:39, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
