Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Bupati) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. 24.20.69.240 09:16, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have recently re-created the article Bupati, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 09:19, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Head of Regency (Bupati), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to provide more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately, and also put a note on Talk:Head of Regency (Bupati). An administrator should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 1 under Articles. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such material. Indonesian regencies...

[edit]

Thanks for you edits to articles such as Kampar Regency, but I think it is overkill to use a table. Just make a short list. Thanks. --Merbabu 09:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bengkalis

[edit]

Look at the article's history: [1]. I didn't cut your work, but improved it. You did cut my work completely: [2].

  1. Regency is the English term for Kabupaten. This is English wikipedia, so we use English, not Indonesian.
  2. Borders are useless for general readers.

There is nothing wrong changing your how_many_centuries work as the article is not yours. Again, read the above two items please so to say why I edit the article. By the way, if you want to impersonate my signature, please make it right. The link to your discussion of your signature is wrong. — Indon (reply) — 15:13, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please help nominate an article for the next collaboration at the collab nomination page. An underdeveloped or stub article is preferred over a long and developed article. Please nominate up to two articles. any questions, please let me know. Kind regards and happy editing. --Merbabu 11:40, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:23, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
