If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Denys Defrancesco, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Fiddle Faddle 16:18, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Your username and your comment here gives me cause for concern. It is possible to interpret your username as "Me Denys Defrancesco", which seems plausible given that you state you are "in charge of creating a Wikipedia page for Denys Defrancesco ." This would be a major conflict of interest.

Please be aware that Mr Defrancesco may prove not to pass our notability hurdle, If so that will lead to its deletion. Fiddle Faddle 16:39, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that my username concerns you but I can certify that there is no conflict of interest, my name is Mehdi and as I stated in a previous talk I'd like to create the page for Denys Defrancesco. I am following the Wikipedia rules but there's always something wrong. What can I do to create content for him that won't be deleted? He is a world renowned photographer as I could see many on Wikipedia. Meddf (talk) 15:03, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because the article was deleted via a deletion discussion, for the decision to be overturned you would need to post at deletion review. I deleted the article this time though mainly because it was promotional - language like "Unafraid to be different, Denys defies convention and stays on top" has no place on Wikipedia - see WP:NPOV and WP:PROMO. I didn't want to use any promotional language, this is a quote from Denys Defrancesco available on his website.Meddf (talk) 15:03, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
